Portal+ is a new premium offering which brings CRM and other non-monitoring features to Affiliated’s award winning Portal. We are currently developing a suite of Portal+ features that will make it easier for you to run your business and deliver great customer service.
Our first feature in Portal+ is Activity Comments. You have told us that you need a place to keep track of conversations and important information about your customers not just related to monitoring. We also hear that you often struggle with keeping everyone in your company in the loop on conversations with customers. Activity Comments solves these problems and more.
With Activity Comments you’ll be able to capture any moment you want in Event History1:
Activity Comments will appear in a customer’s Event History section in the Portal and will show the date and time the comment was logged and which user created it.
Launching today, the first 100 partners to sign up will receive three months of Portal+ free! Afterwards it is just $39 per month.

We’re excited to share the latest feature that’s just been added to the Affiliated Partner Portal: Account Notes!
With Account Notes, you and your team can put information about your customers right on the Site Info page. Whenever you view these customers’ accounts this information will be easily accessible.
You can use the Account Notes feature to take note of anything:
Go ahead and try it. Just look for the Add Notes button on the Site Info page.

We have added the ability to view and update the payment methods Affiliated has on file to our online bill payment page. This is now available to everyone who already had access to the page. If you or someone on your team need access to this page, please contact Partner Support.
Users who add credit cards will be advised of any credit card processing fees that will be incurred on future payments. Auto bill pay features are only available for bank accounts/EFT.
We will be adding the ability to pay bills online by the end of this quarter!

Affiliated is excited to announce an upgrade to our SMS text notification platform. This is the platform used to notify you and your customers about alarm events via text message. The upgrade further enhances the redundancy and performance of our text notification services. Additionally, it will allow us to offer some exciting new features and capabilities in the near future.
You and your customers will begin receiving text messages from a new sender. Previously all text notifications were sent from notifications@alertmessage.com, now you and your customers may receive text notifications from either 800-973-3003 or notifications@alertmessage.com.

As we continue to grow, Affiliated will be conducting an upgrade to our state-of-the-art Avaya telephony platform. This will add new features, capabilities and extensive capacity for the future. This upgrade will occur at a point during the period of time from Saturday, August 21st at 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM Eastern Time. Please know that there may be a momentary reduction in our telephone call capacity during a very short period in that time window. IP and cellular communication will not be impacted.
These upgrades and improvements to our services and infrastructure allow Affiliated to offer the best monitoring services available and support the continued growth of our partners.

Thank you for using the Affiliated Portal! We’ve recently made updates to improve your experience that we would like to share with you.
Users now have the ability to manually enter zones to put on test, which are not on the existing zone list.
If you need to put a zone or signal on test that is not included in your system’s zones list, you have the option to manually enter one by clicking the “Manually enter zones” checkbox.
After clicking this, you will be prompted to enter a comma-separated list of zones or signals to put on test.
If you are unsure of how to use this feature properly and safely, we recommend contacting Partner Support for guidance.

Affiliated will be conducting an upgrade to our call recording system to implement a state of the art digital recording platform which gives us new features and capabilities. This will occur for a period of time during the window of Friday, July 30th, at 10 PM through Saturday, July 31st, at 6AM Eastern. Please know that certain call recordings from periods during this time may not be available.

Starting now, users logging into the Portal for the first time on a browser will be prompted to verify their identity using a code sent to an email or cell phone. Related to this, the Portal will no longer prompt users to verify their email address or cell phone number when logging in.

We’re freezing the column headers on the Zones page so that you will always see them as you scroll down a long list of zones.
We made it so the Zones page automatically scrolls down to any new zone being added.
We fixed a problem that was causing Fail-to-Test events to appear improperly in the Portal, causing problems when saving unrelated changed to System Information.
We resolved a problem that was causing the wrong set of Fail-to-Test settings to be displayed when toggling between linked systems.
